Querkus "Moose"
Querkus is an imported Oldenburg gelding by the legendary jumper-line “Q” as Quidam. He was bred and raised by Armin Wagner in Gemany and brought over to the US as a 3 year old. His Sire is Quidam’s Rubin and Landgraf 1 / Caletto 1. Better jet, his Dame is Rio Branco / Ramiro / Diskus, with the famous “Grande” in the mix. His pedigree says : JUMPING and his does. However, the Quidam-line needs a companionate rider. This means, you need to spend quality time with your horse. These Athletes are known for wanting their riders personal touch and attention, just like the Olympic Winner “Jappeloup”. The end of the jump-stand is the limit…..if you can hang on. Moose is careful, needs a competent rider for the big staff, but he will jump around a hunt-course just as well as he has perfect style. As a Hunter-Derby-Horse, he would kick butt.
